Robotic hand
Build Your Own Robotic Hand — No Experience Needed
The Nova Robotics Humanoid Hand Kit is a fully functional robotic hand you build yourself from scratch. Designed by a real engineer, built for complete beginners.
Powered by an Arduino Uno with preloaded code, the hand opens and closes automatically straight out of the box — no coding, no prior experience, and no engineering background required. Just follow the instructions, build it, and watch it come to life.
Once you've built it, we'll show you exactly which variables to tweak to change how the hand moves — your first steps into real robotics programming.
What's Inside the Box
All 3D parts — forearm, palm and fingers
6 x SG90 servo motors
Arduino Uno with preloaded code and USB cable
400 pin breadboard
40 x 20cm male to male jumper wires
Elastic for finger tension
Fishing line for tendon actuation
How It Works
The hand uses a tendon-based actuation system — just like a real human hand. Fishing line runs through the fingers like tendons, pulled by servo motors to create realistic gripping movement. The preloaded Arduino code runs a simple open and close sequence automatically so you can see it working straight away.
Perfect For
Complete beginners curious about robotics
Students interested in engineering and electronics
Makers who want to build something real
Anyone who wants to understand how robots actually work
